We work with high-efficiency energy systems and an effective utilization of resources with reduced environmental impact. In accordance with ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications, we promote energy efficiency and environmental activities in order to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

The way we manage our safety, health, environmental and community responsibilities is a good indication of how well we manage our business.

We encourage our employees to follow a range of charitable organizations and community sports programs, with priority on local projects and future generations. Following also the guidelines of our partner Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, we aim to be respected and trusted by our local community.

Since 2013, we are sponsor of the soccer team Chieri, the third club in Turin area, behind Juventus and Torino, with more than 400 players.

ATLA looks forward to and actively participates in the achievement of the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

The 2030 Agenda is the action programme for people, planet and prosperity, signed in 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN Member States and consisting of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), divided into 169 targets to be achieved by 2030. Companies have a central role to play in the effective achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as the main driver of economic development.

In this context, we have launched a process aimed to make a concrete contribution to the 2030 Agenda, analysing ATLA’s priority Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and taking useful action to achieve them, as an integral part of our Company’s Policy and Objectives.

Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

We adopt a certified Safety management system (ISO 45001) to comply with obligations deriving from national legislation and to pursue the continuous improvement of measures against accidents and injuries in the workplace. We guarantee the health and safety of the company’s products and services, for the benefit of consumers, employees and interest groups. We train our employees on occupational health and safety issues and promote anti-sedentary and anti-smoking habits, for example by sponsoring sports activities and making the workplace smoke-free.

We adopt a Human Resources management model that provides a continuous education, differentiated according to specific roles, constant training and development of the soft skills necessary to a managerial growth. We welcome students for apprenticeships and school projects.

We adopt a certified Energy management system (ISO 50001) and train our employees in energy efficiency and consumption-saving models within the workplace. We invest in renewable energy sources and ensure the use of energy-efficient technologies, starting from our production plant, designed in accordance with the most innovative energy efficiency systems.

We use our Code of Conduct as a reference document to report violations and abuses. We do not tolerate acts of discrimination and guarantee a work environment in which people are treated with dignity, trust and respect, in the absence of intimidation, oppression and exploitation, respecting human rights. We adopt a certified export compliance management system (EIFEC EC1001.01:EU-CEC) and prohibit any activity in conflict with the Italian Constitution, international commitments, the interests of State security, the fight against terrorism and the maintenance of good relations with other countries.
