Our facilities in Chieri focus on the repair of Gas Turbine hot gas path parts, such as blades and vanes, for power generation and aircraft industry both. The gas turbine may have a simple operating principle, but the equipment comprises of highly specialized components.

We can quickly and cost effectively provide comprehensive technologies and repair solutions to ensure the best possible services to our Customers.

Maintenance is fundamental to ensure optimum performances.

By our Facilities we can repair rotor and stator blades and other hot parts of the gas turbine and deliver these parts “as new” relying on our long experience.

Preliminary Inspection and Testing

We offer a range of Non Destructive and Destructive Testing services. Carrying out testing tasks is fundamental in order to make sure quality and safety standards are met.

Each inspection process provides a detailed list of the features of the detected defects, determining whether or not the part is fit for a desired function. During the whole manufacturing process, starting from the raw material, all individual parts are monitored and inspected by our Quality Department.

Production and Repair

Based on our experience we repair Gas Turbine hot path parts with the aim to guarantee the same performance of new ones.

Aware of the important downtime costs of Gas Turbine out of service, ATLA does the maximum effort to shorten lead times. Our Electrical discharge machining (EDM), Laser and Welding processes are able to operate on high accuracy, demanding machining applications where conventional metal removal is difficult or impossible.

Heat Treatments and Special Processes

Together with our sister company TAG, we offer a full range of Heat Treatments and Special Processes, thanks to the ongoing development of our capabilities and technicians. We are able to deal with any workload while meeting the highest of quality standards.

We are able to deal with any workload while meeting the highest of quality standards and to optimize efficiency by using equipment with capacity ranging from 50 to 8000 kg and with maximum dimensions of 2000x2000x2400 mm.

Coatings

ATLA provides heat resistant materials and thermal barrier spray coatings to extend operational life and provide corrosion resistance.

The coating protects each component against high exercise temperature, oxidation and corrosion. We are able to perform all kind of coatings, such as metallic, ceramic and antiwear.
